Yoga (4–7 years)
Children will be introduced to more in-depth parts of yoga, such as controlling their breath, holding poses, and stretching their bodies further. The class will also include relaxation time with a guided mindfulness focusing on adventure led stories to inspire the imagination and encourage them to focus on positive feelings such as happiness, excitement, and love.
Yoga (8–11 years)
Children will expand on knowledge of breathing techniques and stretching whilst being introduced to more challenging poses. They will be encouraged to follow the guided mindful time more deeply, with thought provoking questions such as: what colours can you see? what does it smell like?, before exploring things they wish to bring into their lives and sharing what they are currently grateful for.
Street Dance (4–7 years)
It’s fun and energetic nature make Street Dance a really popular dance style. Children will be introduced to modern street dance moves for both boys and girls, whilst also trying out some of the exercises that dancers use to strengthen their bodies.
Street Dance (8–11 years)
During this class, children will learn more traditional street dance steps and will participate in some strength and conditioning exercises used by dancers. To help inspire confidence, the children will be encouraged to show each other dance steps learned during the class and also given the opportunity to freestyle when appropriate.
